Mr George Bistline


Mr Bistline began training in TaeKwonDo in June of 1995. His first instructor was Steven Smith of "Smith Karate" located at the Summit Athletic Club in Altoona, PA. Mr Bistline received his Black Belt from "Smith Karate" in March of 2001

Mr Bistline is one of the founding partners and instructor at the Altoona Center for Martial Arts established in 2001.

Mr Bistline also trained in Hapkido from 2000-2003 under Regis Campbell.

Mr Bistline was featured in an article published by Inside Karate in May 1998, written by Stephen Smith, titled "Buying time for a reverse punch".

Mr Bistline is currently a Sergeant with the Altoona Police Department with 28 years of street experience in reading body language, self defense, and rape prevention.

Mr Bistline is a member of the Chin Mu Kwan TaeKwonDo Federation under the guidance of Master Lenny Young.

On October 21, 2005 Mr Bistline was promoted to 2nd degree Black Belt by a board of the Chin Mu Kwan Taekwondo Federation.

On January 18, 2014 Mr. Bistline was promoted to 3rd degree black belt.
